HI Guys

Tried searching this without much luck although im sure it has been dicussed before.

any advice from those that have investigated the aftermarket exhaust options for the 550/575.

what did you go with, why, and how much did it cost?

I didn't intend to change it but the temptation to release the mighty sound of the Ferrari V12 is too great!

I would like something which is loud wnough to not be too intrusive on long journeys, but send a shiver down my spine when approaching the redline...

thanks in advance

I've got Tubi end cans - which sounds great - and isn't too boomy. The full on kit (including the straight pipes) sounds wonderous - but is just too much if you use you cars for long journeys.

Thanks Anjum,

how much were they and who did you get to fit them?

Scuderia Systems are the people you want, they are based in Slough. Speak to Manu. A standard 575 is so quiet, it definitely needs some Tubi action..

Sorry O - no idea what I paid - it was a couple of years ago - and I got Verid's to fit them. I seem to recall that I was pleasently suprised as to their cost.

I know a Tubi back box for a 348 is just over £2000 ... or it was 4 years ago when I put one on my first one.

I fitted Quicksilver back boxes to mine last year. They improved things, but not enough, so will soon be fitting a Tubi centre section which apparently does the trick.

I considered test pipes but have been warned against that route.

I put Larini back boxes on which give a nice proper full fat V12 sound when you want it but are not too lound for motorways etc - if you google them they have some video clips - I think they cost about £1k plus fitting
