Hi All,

This months Classic sports car is worth a read regarding Countach prices!!
I'm glad to say that all the ear bending they got from us all, was worth it!! (in case you have just
returned from Mars - they said you could buy a nice Countach for £30k!!)
Anyway.... check out Page 154 which I think are way more accurate than some posts I've seen on here lately!!!

Regards

Ian

...as people have said re. you and Diablos on another thread Al...

A place you may need to visit is not more than 200 miles from you and you would need to be heading almost due north I should think...

I know hehe

But before I go taking up any of Carlo's time I think I need to find some meets where I can talk some owners and see the various models in the flesh, I mean ... Tony has never even let me sit in his ... something about not having tits and nice legs or something biggrin

Meets ideally somewhere north of Watford Gap rather than the south coast where most of the owners seem to live!

I and a few others in the club are working on that. You are in the LCUK club aren't you? smile

...now burrowing through the LCUK database finding East Yorks. Diablo owners in LCUK... there was one a while back but it was (a) a bit of a shed yikes by all accounts and in Hull yikes - that part of East Yorkshire that's neither spacey for roads or a place where a Diablo should ever be kept...

There are 6 Diablos in Derbyshire that are owned by LCUK Members - one of them is the early lhd red car that's in the PH classifieds http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/865498.htm another is a silver and black 6.0 which is just gorgeous. There is a Club Member with a Diablo just a few miles outside the Hull-like 'no go for a Diablo' area of Blackburn which is a silver SV, not sure how old the car is or which spec. as it's got an 'unusual' plate although, joy!, it wasn't bought from a certain Preston-based vendor...

There are a number of Diablos up here in the civilised world Al, not everyone with a Diablo lives within the Ring o' Lead or sarf' of the great chasm of Ye Olde Watforde Gappe...

Not yet no, I am considering, but £72 is a lot of money when you're saving up for a Diablo you know! biggrin

Guess that's me out of ownership then, Hull born n bred!

ahem ... and what were you saying about us having no decent roads near Hull? wink
