In Determining a Sports Car
Discussion
It is always intriguing to look into the world of sports cars. They are part of a market which does not take price into consideration. These machines are the muscle and the beauty of the car industry. More importantly, it is with great interest that I would like to research the owners of these cars to discover how each car had been decided. My father used to own a Dodge Viper, very different and clunky besides the Lamborghini and the Ferrari, but it was America's answer to a competitive high-end sports vehicle.
What I would be interested in finding out is why you had personally chosen to purchase your car. What about that car had stood out compared to the others of the industry?

Great forum name!
Firstly, you need to narrow your question down. The open question you have asked requires most to post about 300 words, which they're not going to do.
You will find that most true car enthusiasts are not dedicated to just one marque, we love any great car.
I went for Ferrari because of the looks, performance, history and the racing heritage ... I am now contemplating changing to something even more outrageous, but it still won't have quite the same cache as Ferrari.

I bought mine because im fat and ugly. so hopefully one day i will pull a bird and not diablo pete
Jon, you know that's not gonna happen. I'm the most feminine thing that you're gonna be able to pull. Besides, you know how jealous I'd get.You may be fat and ugly, but with the lights out and sufficient sensory deprivation who are gorgeous.
Stop chatting up Robin for his sloppy seconds too.
As for the question,
Decided in my teens I wanted a countach (just that childish wow factor) and like many, the things you love as a teenager never really leave you. I had the countach and things just evolve into the later models as they arrive and your taste develops to eventually like these too. Hence diablo, murcielago. It gets under your skin.
Not a good idea to mention that you're female on here! Most of the guys on here elevate their laptop keyboard out of reach knowing that, as you can tell.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. I find that around friends who have had little contact with cars, it is impossible to ask them something as simple as "What is your favorite car and why?" They usually choose something like the Spitfire or the VW Van, "because it's pretty". For me it was actually riding as a passenger in an old Supra, as I was too young to drive it, that originally got me interested in cars. It was the Viper which taught me how exciting a car can make a trip to the grocery store. I get upset when I see cars intentionally smashed up for Hollywood movies, even though I know most of the time they are models. I can't tell if it's respect for the ride or what which makes me genuinely interested in cars.
Being far from wealthy - I think buying a Ferrari is realising a dream that is 20 years old.
I have owned a number of fast and exciting cars all about half the cost of my Ferrari but nothing
quite comes close for an overall experience.
I can't say I have lots of attention from women in it and I don't pose in it.
Its for me and me alone !!!
The reason I bought a 348 is why most people buy one - I couldn't afford an F355.
The 348 is a raw driving experience and now I'm used to it and can exploit it fully the only other car I would swap it for is something of a similar era like a 512 tr / m - No power steering, very twitchy and completely up to the driver to control the car.
