Spotted: Red Alfa 8C!

First time i've seen one in the flesh, coming back from Portsmouth earlier this afternoon on the M27 to see a stunning deep red Alfa 8C coupe - Wow what a car, with so much presence!!
A PH'er maybe?

I had a look at this whilst out walking round Lyndhurst.

Did look fantastic and drew the guys in having a bit of day dream about what exact colour you'd get your F430 (whilst telling you gf why). So imo would be more appealing than say the f430.. ( lol like i'd feel bad if i had either one)But the price is eye watering, wasnt there a 8C down in the Alfa garage in Portsmouth?

Same group. Meridien Modena (Ferrari) and Meridien Milano (Alfa).

I like the 8C, but it's too big. If it was tiny, say Lotus Elan sized it would have been much, much prettier.

Somewhere there i would say as the spider was 160k starting price roughly before options.

being main dealers, Meridien surely can't speculate on their cars?

i remember having this conversation with one of the guys in the lyndhurst showroom... it was shortly after the 430 first came out, and they had a 430 come into stock which they offered out at list (when all the specialists were charging 20-30k over list). it sold straight away needless to say.

i dont think they can speculate, you get a customer to place the order and by it, it then becomes used stock ( i think)

Love the looks but dont think I have heard anyone rave about how they drive.

More of a car to put in your collection and stare at than drive IMO

Thats right, a main dealer can't sell an unregistered car at over list, but can charge whatever they want for a second-hand car.
