I have been a memeber of quite a few car clubs and can understnad people on here who may read this and be a bit worred or intimidated about coming along. There are clubs and clubs, if I can put it politley!
The main qualification I have found for being in this club is; Just loving lambos!
They are unusual cars , usually owned or admired by unusual people!
If these charectoristics sound like you, then please come along. John and Robin are the only two people who bite and are easily spotted as they foam at the mouth and wear peculiar leather gear! Dont be put off! The rest of us are much less normal!

Hi Jon. Loved it. Best Lambo vid I've seen. Thought about the rear wing actually as I really like the look. Only thing is, it'll only slow the cars down. Also don't like the thought of having a superfluous self-raining wing.

I drve my car everywhere at 150 so that I can keep my rear wing up for pose value.

The thirty colour SE30 really floated my boat.
Been out all afternoon in the Murci Roadster today. Loads of fun.

Lime green reminds me of a bad cold, but at least pete might spend some money on you for once.

So what is it you like, the race track, or the music?
Just the fact that they where having a laugh and using there cars.

Lets look at it this way.

2007 annual dinner, fantastic night with some effort put in, sunday run must have had 60 cars and a real good drive out through town and on to gaydon, great time.

2008 annual dinner. Not all that many cars and not very well organised, My god what a let down of a drive out sunday, must have taken all of 10 minutes to get to gaydon, then the speech was slack, and for the A hole who spoke to me like I was dog ste on his foot, well I wont mention the top mans name.

The web site is a complete joke with nothing on there.

Lets just hope this year all the things that are being said and shown on the calender happen.

JD, Its going to happen. All the while folk just sit back and wait, the longer it takes. The hardest thing to galvanise into action are members who just sit there, waiting. As I suggested last year, why dont you invite a crowd down to the west country and arrange a hoon over the moors, you would have an immediate take up, have a read of Phil James instructions on how to post on the website, this was all created to get the events member driven.

Perhaps you will even come up to the AGM and pass on your suggestions on how to get the club doing the things you would like to be involved in.

If everyone gave just a little of their time to help organise one event, we wouldnt have enough days on the calendar.

Details of the time and location of LCUK's AGM will be with LCUK's Members in the next few days if they aren't already in their postboxes...

Hi Jon

I have to agree with Lynne that arranging an event is not hard BUT getting the members to attend is a different thing I know that you live along way from most of us.

Please come along to the AGM we all have an opionion so what better place to voice it than there and also to sort out the differences and try to get the members and club back on track?!

Lorraine;)

The selection of Lamborghini Club UK's management committee takes place at the Club's AGM.

Only the Members of Lamborghini Club UK get a vote on any substantive matters that concern the Club at the Club's AGM.

Only the Members of Lamborghini Club UK get the opportunity to nominate or be nominated for a committee position via the forms included in the material mailed to the Club's Members before the actual meeting.

For very obvious reasons, that effectively excludes those people who aren't actually Members of the Club.

Every post within Lamborghini Club UK's management committee is entirely unpaid and, by long tradition, has only ever included a minimal amount of out-of-pocket expenses as well.

There was one committee member who accrued large personal expenses on behalf of LCUK over many years but which were never claimed from the Club. His business was badly affected to the point of its near-destruction and his marriage was also seriously jeopardised as a result.

Most of the committee spend an inordinate amount of time making great efforts on behalf of the Club's Membership. Most will also have seen their business interests adversely affected and indeed their own private lives suffer because of the efforts they make for the Club.

Anybody else up for that? All it takes is practically everything you've got to give and then a lot more as well! It's easy!!
