This is my first post here, hello all !

i have a 08 reg porsche but being a big fan of ferrari, i am considering buying a used ferrari for weekend drives and keep the porsche as my daily driver.

my budget is 65K and i believe this can get me a 02-03-04 maranello or 360 spider, or modena ?

i know alot about porsches but my knowledge on ferrari's is very limited. i just love the way they look and sound. never driven one.

which one of the above models would you choose ? what are the goods/bads of these models ?

really appreciate your replies.

many thanks

Hi Tim

Its a pretty open question you have asked and would take a long time to break down the Ps&Cs of each. there is plenty of info on this part of the forum on each model. Why not grab a cup of tea, browse through, then post some more specific questions that maybe havent already been covered in the other topics on here.

Sounds like it would be a 360 spider F1/manual that you would be looking for though as a weekend car. Lots of info on here about these already

I've seen a couple of 430s at 65k. These are a big leap forward from the 360 [according to what I've read - I haven't driven one]. At 65k you'd probably have to settle for a manual box.

What he said.

In addition, you'd be mad to spend £65k on a 360coupe right now.

if your spending 65k it would have to be the 430 no question. it would be a manual at that money but iv heard they are excellent cars

Get a 430, it's a great car!

The next steps up from that are going to cost abit more IMO, 360cs, then 599, etc

agree

go for a 430 & stretch a bit for F1

I'd also go for a metallic silver, grey or black. They look great in Silver & Grey, extremely menacing, whereas Red (IMO) doesn't work on this car.

Unless your names Schuey, Raikey or Massa, a 430 is more than enough for 99% of drivers
