Hi All,

I am looking at buying a 360 Spider and really want those bucket seats. I've got it in my head te other ones look bad compared to the big bucket ones.
Anyone got any fedback on these and whether I'm just being stupid.
I think I saw tem in a celebs car years ago ( maybe David beckham) and thought they just looked fantastic.

Thanks

360 carbon seats are great. Drove 4 hours in them a couple of weeks ago and didn't have any problems..

Could do with more lumbar support though, but I personally wouldn't want a Ferrari without something similar.

I have the large Carbon race seats in my car and they are very comfy I much prefer them to the Daytona seats I had in my Spider.
Quite a few owners have gone for this option. It also gives you more headroom.

I would say that it depends on your size to how well they fit, I love both, however its worth remembering that on original seats (with electric option), if you ever have a flat battery you cannot just move the seat forward to get to the jump point, - its a much trickier job through the passenger footwell, If buying used, go on condition and service history, not just the seats!

tried both bucket and standard seat in the 430 and the bucket gives amazing support and is perfect for a weekend blast but if your doing a more gentle drive then u need to buy something else, or go for those standard seats, i personally would go all out and have those bucket seats!

I have standard seats and like them. Im 6'1, you would not want to be much taller. I have them fully back and in the lowest position. I have not found accessing the battery from the footwell a problem.

I don't think the sports seats were an option on the 360 Spider, only the Modena. This was down to the lack of space due to the roof mechanism and larger size of the seat. I may be wrong though.........

I think it was just the F355 spider you couldn't get the carbon racing seats in. As you said it was something to do with the roof. I think they sorted it for the 360 though.

Yes you could have sports seats in spiders but it comes down to you.
I'm around 5'11 but I'm short in the body so I sit low in a sport seat.
A friend of mine will only have sports seats in his Ferrari's as he is long in the body/short in the leg. i.e The sports seat gives him another couple of inches head room.

Correct - due to seatbelt mounting points and mechanism needing clearance.

I might be wrong, but with 360's and 430's spiders you could have sports seats but not harnessess from the factory, but you could have both on coupes.

I had carbon seats in my Spider. They were comfortable, and allowed me to get a proper driving position. I'm just over 6'1" and like to sit fairly upright and close to the wheel. When I tried a manual car with regular seats I couldn't use the clutch unless I drove semi-recumbent.

go for the carbon race seats. i have them in my spider and they sit lower than normal seats. im 6'2 and they feel so comfy, even after 4 hours to devon. and not forgetting they look much nicer imho.
