I know some of these cars are a little long in the tooth but how many owners is acceptable for say a 97-98 car before residuals are hit hard?.

Cheers

the more modern the Ferrari the higher number of owners / faster turnover of owners seems to occur, with 360's you can get upto 1 a year, 355's max seems to be 2 a year on average really, but their is two sides to this arguement, more sales - the likely hood is that she will hae been more serviced by suppling dealers, but I have seen 1 and two owner 328's over 20 years! personlly 6 or 7 would be OK, I would start to look harder above that. Stability often shows love and commitment to the brand - rather than a toy when someone has money - then sells it when it needs work!

Buy on condition, not number of owners.

Couldnt care less about the number of owners. There is usually a fast turnover on supercars anyway. Pretty irrelevant really. Buy on condition and service history.
