Hi all,

I was sure that I would change the amber side repeaters on a Giallo Midas G but since I've seen standard ones 'in the flesh' I'm not so sure. Anyone with a yellow G done it? I've seen orange G's with clears in but not a Giallo Midas one! Could you post pics on here?

Thanx,

Witchbreed

Yellow, three layer. Need a pic of 'clears' to make my mind up whether to change the old amber ones!

Cheers for the pic. Clear side repeaters do look better.

Think I may need to ring Eurospares this afternoon!?

Have you found/bought a car then?

Almost. Don't wanna jinx it though! To be honest the car is perfect as it is but I've never been a fan of amber indicators yet they don't stick out as much on yellow as on the white G's. They may get a stay of execution until I'm 100% certain. Anyone on here swapped them? Just wondered if it was an easy process or whether I'd need to take the bumper off.

It's all go go go as my leaking garage is being repaired tomorrow and I'm getting everything ready including having a spring clean. I'm suprised at home much...erm... SH!TE one person can collect over the years!

I wonder if I'll be this nervous if I ever have children!?

I was considering the clear lenses on my "yellow" Gallardo but my advice is get the car and live with it for a while as the yellow ones blend in really well on the car in the flesh and I think the clear lenses do the opposite of what you want i.e they are more obvious. I would definately change on black etc. Just my opinion.

Didn't someone work out once before that you could get them as a £5 Audi spare part?

To take them out you need to remove the inside wheel arch, couple of bolts, and then undo the 2 10mm bolts holding the inticator to the bumper and pull the bulb out. You may even manage it with the arch liner on the car still

That's answered it then. I'm leaving them in! :-)
