Hi all,

so I've finally pulled the trigger and acquired a 07 Gallardo. Still owning my EVT700 997 turbo I'm been lucky enough to be able to compare these toys on various drives through the Yorkshire countryside. And how different they are!

Porsche: V-fast, lighter steering, tighter turning circle, Amazing brakes... (PCCB)

Lambo: Amazing looking, sounds incredible, feels heavy, crap brakes... (despite all this I think I prefer it to the porker)

So my question is has anyone fitted any Brake upgrades to there Gallardo?

The only one I have found is this:

http://www.girodisc.com/about.htm

They are lighter than stock, you can run pagid pads and they are much cheaper than Lambo's.

You thoughts are appreciated.

Cheers

Here is the pricing info I got...

$650 each per front rotor and $500 each for the rears. Fronts are
380mm and come with 7mm spacers to put under the calipers. Be sure
you have caliper to wheel clearance radially before ordering. The pad
we recommend for your intended use is the Pagid 421/422 compound.
Excellent all-around pad for "spirited road" and what I'll call light
track work. If you intend on running hard at the track, consider
421/422 for the street and RS29 for the track.

This price includes the centre 'hat' and all fixings

Cheers
