This may well have been covered else where in the forum, I have a few questions :

1. What is the cost of extending the Ferrari/ Lambo warranty beyond the standard term offered
2. I assume the warranty requirements including some sort of vehicle check and standard fitment of parts only
3. I know this is a "how long is a piece of string" type question...but what is the average life expentancy of the carbon brake setup on the Carbon brakes on a F430 ? and cost of pads/ disc's I have been told it is circa 10k ?
4. Cost of a clutch chane on a Lambo Gallardo ?

I am trying decide on the relative pro's and con's between a 06 plate F430 / 06 plate Lambo Gallardo / 07/06 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Thanks in advance

As far as i know Ferrari will warranty a car that is up to 9 years old, or a certain millage (not quite sure what it is). It involves a check, you take the car into them and they run the check to find out if anything is wrong. I'm not sure how they act to non-standard parts. As you said they would probably want them removed, but i guess it depends what it is.
As for the cost, it all depends on how long the car has been out of warranty etc, i think it would be approximately £2-3k per year. I would assume Lamborghini have the same/similar policy.

As for which car to choose, you should go test them all and see what you prefer. I think you may find the Aston too slow in comparison to the Ferrari and the Lambo. I've had my Gallardo for 4 years this summer and it is brilliant, puts a smile on my face every time i look at it.

I hope that helps and if you have any questions feel free to email me.

Lamborghini don't offer an extended warranty at the moment but they are working on it. Expect something official later this year.

Clutch change approx £3k - £3.5K at dealer.

Hope that's of some use!
