Just come back from a week in tenerife - our hotel just happened to be the venue for the press and dealer launch of the new Spider. There were 20 of them lined up outside in every colour combination from white to matt black. Looked so amazing. There were a lot of people walking round the hotel with silly grins on their faces. I'll try to post some photos later

There was a white one spotted in Ireland over the weekend down in Cork, on Swiss plates I think.

Green or blue, that yellow doesn't suit it in my opinion.

They really do have to be the best looking convertible on the road. Absolutely jaw dropping, achingly lovely.

I have put aside upto £100K for a car in August - this just may take me over the edge!!!!!

is the matt black painted or a film? If painted, is this now a factory option on the LP560-4 Spyder?

Yes it's a factory option. Nero Nemesis!

A mere £16,388. Can also get Matt White and Brown (?!)

£16k!!! I will buy gloss black and use a brillo pad then!!! Even better £16k for matt brown!! "Hello sir, why are you driving a car which looks like something you tread on in the street"!!
At least it shows Lamborghini have a sense of humour. The matt black does look stunning though in the photos.

Thats taking the mick!! No more work is required to spray a matt finish over gloss one, how do they justify that cost? And before anyone asks I spray my own cars so I know what I am talking about.

It's justified in it's exclusivity wink

..or you could get it wrapped in matt black, which enables you to take it off when the matt black is no longer cool.

I think the orange interior might be a factor here!
