Driving experience day - Lamborghini advice wanted
Discussion
Hello chaps, my first post in this forum, so a hello from me.
I'm doing a 6th Gear experience next weekend, really looking forward to it, and am currently down to drive the following:
F360
Gallardo
Atom
They do have upgrade options to the package I'm on, and was wondering whether it's worth paying a little extra to drive an LP640 instead of the Gallardo?
My current drive is a Boxster S, and I've never driven Italian exotica before. If anyone could give me any pointers on how the cars drive that would be great, cheers.

It's instead of the Gallardo. I believe it's only about 30 quid, something like that. Christ, that sounds pathetic doesn't it?!
I guess I'm asking that as a first time supercar driver, would I really get the benefit out of an LP640 on the track? The Gallardo may be easier for me to drive and 'enjoy' as part of a learning curve... and its still a V10!!

I'd recommend asking for an upgrade to drive both the Gallardo and the Murciélago, shouldn't be too much more and then you'd be able to compare the two for yourself...
...and you'll have even more to talk to everybody about for the next few weeks / months / ever as well!

also, tell folks about the Atom as well... I will drive one of 'em soon, oh yes I will, yeppity doo-dah

The package is as listed above, however the following upgrade options are available:
Upgrade 1 - The Lamborghini Murcielago can be substituted for an extra £20
Upgrade 2 - The Lamborghini LP640 can be substituted for an extra £30
Upgrade 3 - The Ferrari 360 Stradale can be substituted for an extra £20
Upgrade 4 - The Aston Martin DBS can be substituted for an extra £30
So I can upgrade any car for any of the above, but I'd really like to drive the Ferrari as well, which is why it's either/or for the Gallardo/LP640.

The offer is still open...though i warn you, the Dark side will be less enticing once you have...and you'll have even more to talk to everybody about for the next few weeks / months / ever as well!

just to chuck a little spanner in...
You could always go for that very-orange 54 plate Murciélago instead and get a feel of a V12 and see what an 'older' Lamborghini feels like as well.
I know, that's just me making trouble again isn't it?
...mind you, I've wanted to drive that car for a few years now... and it's good to use words like 'good ol' bus' about a modern Lamborghini as well!

I've been and done the Gallardo, LP640, AMV8 and Atom....only advice I can give is do not drive the Atom first, it'll make anything else feel slow, quiet and down right pants! I'd pay to the extra to drive the LP640, you'll be amazed at its power and responsivenss for it's size, the Gallardo maybe feels a little quicker out of the corners, but you expect it to - does that make sense?
After you've been in these, prepare yourself for the Atom and be amazed!
If we're talking upgrades, ask for a ride in the Atom with t'other chap driving (oh, and take a clean pair of under-crackers too!)

I'm booked in for the 11th driving:
LP640
360 Strad
Atom
You've got to go for the LP640, if you don't you'll regret it on the day!
We're going on the 12th. I thought about upgrading to the Stradale as well, but quite fancy the manual box. Do you know if you can upgrade on the day? LP640
360 Strad

I'm not sure about upgrades on the day, I assume they have to plan the day in terms of who wants to drive what. It's probably too late but I got a 20% discount (from memory) for being a PH'er which went a long way to covering the cost of upgrades.
Cheers, we got that discount on booking
I'm going to give them a call and get the 640 bought
