Ferrari Festival help
Discussion
There was a Ferrari Festival at Brands Hatch in 2000 and 2001 (from memory). That then stopped and Donington launched See Red as an event trying to tap into the same market. That ran for a number of years although not with very much Ferrari action on track. There was, though, designated Ferrari parking on the infield.
There was also a Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone in 2007 which celebrated 60 years of Ferrari and 40 years of the UK Owners' Club. Both that event and the two at Brands Hatch were run in conjunction with Ferrari SpA and thus had racing including the Ferrari Challenge cars and Ferrari Historic Challenge. Similar events have been run around Europe although the popoular German event at Hockenheim or Nurburgring has fallen victim to Ferrari's recent importer re-organization.

Hi there,
I went to the 'See Red' festival at Donington a couple of times. It was ok, but like Jonathan said not really a Ferrari Festival.
The Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone in 2007 was a whole different ball game, wall to wall Ferraris inc the stunning FXX event.
All my pics can be found here: -

and if you want to take a look here are some of the Ferrari parade at 'See Red' in 2006

The silverstone event in 2007 was excellent, dont they do "Ferrari racing days" in the UK anymore
Well, they're barely happening at all this year because of the re-organization of the Ferrari importers in Europe. I hope it will happen again but I do know it cost Ferrari twice as much to put on at Silverstone as elsewhere in Europe.Jonathan

sorry i dont get whats happened with the importers and what this has to do with the racing days :S
Because the importers were supporting/pushing the various Ferrari Racing Days events and now they're not so the events aren't happening.Jonathan

There's no fixed time on the picnic tickets, other than they state that those who've ordered picnics can collect them from 11.30am. I guess then that the opening hours will be those of Burleigh itself, though I suspect the cars won't arrive en masse until after 11am. If you go around noon, most people will be in and parked up by then. Simon
