having sold my FERRARI F512M been looking at gallardo's & murci sorry but they just dont do it for me so it looks like saving a bit more and get a scud

drove a gallardo round oulton park and it did nothing at all for me to be honest its like driving a audi/bmw and the murci just dont do it in looks think lambo have lost the plot since after the diablo

only good thing is that the scuds are coming down in price

How is your ex 512M Steve? Do you still see it about and are you in touch with the new owner?
Surprised you have not got a CS yet, maybe you should sell of a few of your restored bikes. And its not like you dont have the room in that big hanger wink Summer is around the corner smile
Leave the Lambos mate, your not anal enough to own one;)

Interesting, is that not the case with the majority of the new supercars. I would think that a 599 and 612 would feel as bland as a BMW at normal speeds. The new California i also expect will be even more of a GT than a sportscar so its not a Lamborghini problem - i am sure that the new Murci SV will be an exciting car. The Scud and Porsche GT2/GT3RS i would think still have that element that you may be looking for though the Porsche may not be your cup of tea.

Hi Steve. I have to agree I have a Scud and an SL for SWMBO. Having driven a number of Lambos they arent at the same level as a Scud IMOP in truth more akin to the SL.

I know this is a joint forum but as far as Italian exotica is concerned it has to be the Grand Prix racing exotica from Maranello that do it for me

By the way are you on any other forums m8

Yes i beleve so. I have seen many and to tell you the truth i am convinced that it isbiggrin Though i find it a struggle to tell between a real one and a replica countach. Because even a factory countach looks like a kit car IMO. wink

Steve,

I wouldnt have a Gallardo or Murcielago however I do like the Murcie Roadster from a looks point of view. The Diablo does everything for me and blows all Ferraris out of the water in terms of value for money on looks. Looks arnt everything though, as you pointed out it comes down to the driving and theres no way you could compare a CS to a Diablo for drivability.

It would seem you best stick with the CS, I think thats where your passion lies.

Would you get it in red/cream or are you open to options?

He usually prefers gravy, but as long as it is double, I'm sure he'd stretch to cream.

I think you just have to look at the dayglo colours (this is the owners i'm talking about) to realise what special means.

biggrin

Lisa i was more thinking about Robins fake tan but i see where you're going with this.

Just proves that Lambo owners need something that says look at me, whereas Ferrari owners are happy to let the class of the car speak for itself

Its like the good old days on Ferrarichat! I have missed Steve's wind ups. You omitted to say Steve you drove the Gallardo around Oulton Park about 4 years ago remember! Far as I'm concerned the only Ferrari worth having is the 360 CS. smile
