No idea what I'm going to be buying next, but looking through Parkers guide, I noticed that 53 plate Gallardos should be between £40-44k.

So where the hell are they??

54 plates are 'supposed' to be about £45k but the cheapest I've seen on auto trader is £55k, are people over valueing their cars, or are those prices sustainable at the moment?

Thoughts?

...not to mention that the Gallardos which were 'panic sales' at those sort of prices have now been sold...

Hopefully, therefore, the only Gallardos being sold now are the cars that aren't arrrrrrrrrggggghhh! I suddenly can't afford this car!!!! sales...

+1 I totally agree Parker's isn't always that accurate. Now i must admit I don't know a lot about the used car market, from what I've noticed parker's seems to be the very very very very lowest price for a car.

If they were over valued, they wouldn't sell, therefore they would have to reduce them. The fact that they haven't hit those quoted figures means that they are selling and are therefore sustainable wink

hmmm, this is a shame, I really wanted to keep things below £50k, I guess image wise, with the family etc it probably wouldnt look good buying a lambo now anyway...

I guess its back to thinking about an M5 or RS4. Damn!

Edit: and yes, Parkers always seems to price things way too low, always gets me a bit excited then depressed!

The 'Guides' that are published are fairly useless when it comes to brands like Lamborghini.

Parker's in particular! Bearing in mind there are something like 150 new Lambos sold every year in the UK it's fairly difficult to measure and publish an average price for these guides.

Even Glass's, the trade bible - I genuinely couldn't tell you the last time I looked in there to value a Lambo.

The only thing you can go on is the figure that people are prepared to accept for their cars. The comments people have made about a distinct lack of stock availability are absolutely true. Lamborghini Birmingham currently owns ONE USED LAMBORGHINI. It has been in stock a week today and there are about six people close to buying the car.

Prices really are stabilising so if you were ever considering taking the plunge, DO IT NOW!
