Has anyone heard of this company before????

They appear to be a tuning company for cars ranging from Ferrari and lamborghini to mercedes and BMW, So I just wondering has anyone come by this company or used there services in the past??? Just from what I've seen they did a great job with the ferrari 517 testarossa.

http://www.qv500.com/Koenig%20Testarossa%20P1%204....

so guys/ladies what are your thoughts???

Friend of mine used to own a twin turbo drop Testarossa in Giallo fly...it was bloody awesome! Quickest thing he has ever driven he reckons. Could have up to 1000bhp smile

Don't think it is in the UK anymore, I believe it might be in Malta.

Didn't Koeining do the "bad ass" wide arch bodykits as well for "prestige' motors back in the day? I remember a friend having a 500SEC poster with what seemed like the most massive arches and oil drum alloys when younger?

They were really well known in the late 80s for their countach turbo conversions. The cars are idenntified by some really cool skirts with a large intake in front of the rear wheels. My favourite poster back then was a well know picture that featured a white 5000S which had the treatment. Many of the replica kit cars of the time had their skirts styled on the koenig, ABS, GB Racing, Prova.

Assume you realise that they are now the makers of the Koenigsegg?

I don't think they are related are they?! Koenig is a German company, whilst Koenigsegg is swedish - founded by Christian von Koenigsegg. I think CvK would still have been a kid when the first Koenig cars were being produced!

He would have been. Two separate companies although.

William H on F-Chat has a black 512 convertible and also a racing 512 Koenig in Silver, he would be a good man to talk with.

I have one of the first Koenig 512bb's It was once owned by a Kuwait Prince and he had it converted I think artound 1984. The car is a 1977 BB and has 4 triple webber carbs, it revs to 8500 and the sound it makes is ridiculous. I have a video of it chasing an F50 around silverstone for three laps and the sound is quite intoxicating even holding it to 7000 mainly. I have added more modern wheels and it runs the same tyres as a F50

I have owned the car since the late 90's and it is a great car to drive... even to the supermarket. It is geared to do around 198mph

When I was a kid I would regulary see a Koenig 512bb and a Koenig Competition TR, however that was in Vienna.

I think this might be the very 512
