I've seen a fair few at motorshows and the like, but I saw my first F40 on the road today.
Or more accurately, at the side of the road with a recovery truck in front of it. Looked like a mechanical, rather than an accident recovery, thankfully.

A500 N/b near Junction 15, pulled into a layby between 10 and 12 today. F40 BEx if anyone recognises it

Regardless of circumstances, it was still a bit of a moment for me, especially as I was following a F550 Maranello at the time.

Same here. The only time I've seen an F40 in the wild was one stricken by the roadside and was just about to get lifted.

Only time I've seen one on the road was in Luton outside the bus depot a few years ago. It didn't strike me as the most likely of places rofl

My first and only F40 on the road was many years ago, sitting by a bus stop, roads were empty and I heard this approaching thunder from down the main road. All of a sudden it came into view and drove by me about 30mph, nice and easy. A fantastic experience, tame but brutal.

Seen a few F40's on the road, always impressive.

I once saw a Lamborghini Countach broken down near Mam Tor in Derbyshire, with the AA man peering into the back scratching his head.

If you wanted to see one being "driven" you should have come to the Scottish Motorfair at Knockhill

I saw one the other week heading towards Derby on the A38.
Looked awesome, and it took me a while notice the Zonda following it!
