Lamborghini Islero - as I haven't seen one on here..
Discussion
...thought you might like to see these (again) Iain!

and this image of your Islero was taken at the Club's AGM in 1999 - PC parked with the usual 'couldn't care less' style he liked

In the coincidental nature of things like this, LCUK has just gained another Islero owning Member yesterday who bought his car outside the EU and should have completed formalities regarding (re)importing it to Europe. He may begin posting here on PH as well so I'll not jump the gun and place the picture of his light green coloured car here just yet. (It looks an excellent, subtle, restrained, stylish and understated car - like all Isleros do...)

when you click on your picture, the full size picture of your car looks lovely - shiny, shiny, shiny, shiny, shiny!

Hi David
It's interesting that at Brooklands in the first picture I debated whether to plump for the blue car or the green car - I liked blue, so went for that. Wonder what happened to the green one...?
oh I dunno... I think the green car ended up living over 270 miles from its owner and will only be getting 'taxed' for 2009 later today - the usual crippling £0; will these horrendous ruddy costs ever end? Next thing you know there'll be a little frog living in the glove compartment...It's interesting that at Brooklands in the first picture I debated whether to plump for the blue car or the green car - I liked blue, so went for that. Be warned though - it's no attention seeker. One father and son plucked up the courage to come half way up the drive to try and see what it was - the father, in hushed tones said to the son, 'that, my son, is a Jensen Interceptor'... You could hear my howl the other side of Cirencester. Most commonly I get mistaken for a Maserati, a Corvette Stingray and a Ferrari.
I'd say: a good looking Bristol:

Beautifull Touring lines (ex-Touring I know . . .)
Wikipedia says: The Islero (pronounced "eez-LEHR-oh") was named after a Miura bull that killed famed matador Manuel Rodriguez "Manolete" on August 28, 1947 (Lamborghini also produced a car named the Miura, from 1966 to 1973).
Only 125 Isleros were built. Only 100 examples of the Islero S were built.
1969 Lamborghini Islero S in The Man Who Haunted Himself, Movie, 1970 (IMDB)
