Gasohol Fuel for Supercars
Discussion
I live in Thailand and we have an alternative fuel here called 95 octane Gasohol which is basically 90% unleaded 95 octane benzene fuel and another 10% ethanol. It has been in existance and in use by most cars for at least 5 years now but I'm not sure if it would work well and not cause problems for cars such as Ferrari's or Maserati's. The Porsche dealership here has approved the 95 Gasohol for all MY2000 and later which means the 996 cars but not the 993s. People here have been using gasohol for all other types of cars whether German, American or Japanese for years now.
I would appreciate you any of you in Europe are familiar with gasohol or anything of this nature. If so, any advice or comments on whether these supercars can take this type of fuel that is 10% ethanol would be greatly appreciated. I did search the forum and found no info related to this topic.
Thanks in advance!
