Anyone Know This car?
Discussion
(Quote from Club Scudaria)It Belongs to Brandon Wang, I had a long chat with him at Maranello. Absolutely charming man - a real enthusiast with a lot of knowledge. We talked mainly about the trend to over restore older cars. His own 250GTO #4219 which has paintwork going back more than 30 years is an interesting car with a chain of only 4 owners, which is very low for a GTO. It only raced twice, at Daytona (driven by Pedro Rodriguez) and at Sebring (Jo Bonnier). One of the stipulations when the previous owner bought it in 1964, was that the car was repainted dark blue (don't ask me why because it wasn't the original colour), and it still remains that colour today having worn it for all but 2 years of its life. The son of that previous owner also had the rare distinction of having his driving lessons in it, around Lake Tahoe. His dad used to take it on weekend trips to Vegas.
Do have a close look at it if you ever get a chance. Lovely car(End Quote)

I like your style. Many moons whilst diving in the Navy in the South of France, we were sitting in a Zodiac offshore, (Rubber boat). My boss looking up saw some planes and said "I wonder what they are"
Simple questions need simple answers, so I said "Jets sir"
He said "I know their jets, but I wonder what sort they are"
I said "French!". He made me swim a mile back to the beach, just no sense of humour somepeople.

There aren't many things wrong with p/h but people without the ability to lighten up a bit is one of them, another is the spelling, grammar and syntax used by some of the posters but hey, let's just enjoy the cars and the communication, even if some of it is a bit puerile and poorly structured! Was tempted to say something about it not being a Ferrari 'cos it's not red but after the spectacular turn-out of Ferraris at Cliveden I know better now. Ant
