Bought a 355 today. Lovely car and great fun, not noisy enough with standard exhaust though fact. The occasional Ferrari bark from 1st to 2nd but after my CSL feels like I am driving underwater...Ditto GranSport...

So...Simple questions.

Which exhaust
How Much, approx
Who can fit near London while I wait/or pick up car and deliver back.

Thanks!!

Have experience of Capristo, Tubi and Larini and they are all fantastically made systems, with a top sound. Tubi's were the weapon of choice on the 355, but I think Capristo and Larini have lept ahead on that car, based on the cars I have heard. Capristo is great on the f355, but do not do Maserati systems while the Larini sports exhausts sound very screamy on the 355 and mega on the 4200/GranSport (from first hand experience). http://www.larinisystems.com/video.php always found www.autofficina.co.uk in chessington/London uber helpful. Not sure about prices, as it was a a while back.

Either way, one of those 3 companies will satisfy most requirements wink

Good luck with your choice.

Not sure on cost of exhaust, have no clue actually as no one has called me back as yet and anyone who has had one done recently is being shy on giving price..

In terms of garage, it is 85" at narrowest point and car actually goes in with mirrors extended which is handy, then once inside I can get out of one side which has a blanket nailed to wall !

its 100" inside wall to wall. You have to be confident going in though as I have an F1 and its a sod at slow speeds!!

That's about the right price, sadly. But it is by FAR the best system on a 355. Hands down.
Verdi are the importers.

The Larini exhaust is £1600.00 plus Vat, and I had mine fitted by JMH Ferrari in Cheshire. They had a 355 with a Capristo in at the time, and believe me the sound was just as good as the Capristo. In fact I forund it 'boomed' less in the cabin, which was important to me as I do not want to feel uncomfortable in the car. So, I had it fitted with a guarantee that if I wasn't happy with the sound it would be taken off - I kept it, and never looked back as it were wink That thing absolutely screamed it's knackers off all the way to the redline. Much lighter than the Capristo too, which is huge. Still, either sounds good.

Capristo or you will just upgrade later.

ITO is excellent, but really expensive.

Capristo is a great sounding exhaust, for sure. I just always find it strange when guys say it is the 'best ever by far...EVER' (in Clarkson-esque tone) smile Why does the OP not try all the main ones and get the exhaust companies to pay for the fitting in exchange for some PR? He then just pays for the winner. Oh, and take a driving clip of all of them together - then we will know for sure smile Although, I do appreciate that sound is subjective. One man's Guns & Roses is another man's Wings.

I've got a Larini on my 355, can't say I like it. It's too quiet really. Still got cats on my car. Quality is not a patch on the Capristo either. It's good at cruise as it's not too loud but to be honest the Capristo is so much better on all levels I don't think there is really an alternative. You could look at a Mille Miglia from Australia. The vid on youtube sounds fantastic but I'd like to hear a more extended clip before I purchased and I'm pretty sure quality won't be close to the Cappy.
