Apologies if already been asked but is the LP560 front bumper interchangeable with a 2007 Gallardo Spyder. Might be cheaper than trading up. I know I miss out on extra power etc but the front on the LP looks so much better in my opinion. If it is possible anybody any ide of cost?

Hi Ian it definately is possible, a couple of American members of Team Speed have had it done to their Superleggera's.

No idea of price I'm afraid, but you are right, it makes a massive difference to the looks!

Cheers for speedy response. I thought i had seen something on LamboPower from guys in the States doing it. Just didn't know if a straight swap or body mods needed. Worth exploring I guess.

I'm sure I've seen a UK car advertised with it, and it was a straight swap, no metalwork changes on the body between LP and Gallardo at the front.

Are you sure it is a straight swap? From memory the front of the bonnet on the LP560 has an angle in it. I'll compare SL to LP tonight

I thought they had different headlights that drop into the bumper?

http://www.rsctuning.com/product_info.php/cPath/4_...

Fits straight on with no modifications, there is a 55 page thread on it on lambo-power if you want to read about it.

But yours is blue and mine is yellow!!! Seriously yours looks great. Apologies for being thick but is it 560 or Gallardo with 560 front bumper as difficult to tell just looking at front. If the latter how did you obtain bumper and get it fitted?

You might be right looking at this pic....

The RSC bumper is an LP560 style bumper to fit the existing Gallardo according to the web, so it looks like you're bang on.

It's the RSC bumper fitted to my G, made from the same material as the OEM bumper. There is another company in the US called Monarchy, they do it in CF, but if you're going to paint it.....

I fitted it myself, but if you want to any bodyshop could do it. You can either get them unfinished or if you send them your towing cap they will match the paint (the triple pack yellow and orange are the hardest to match)
