Gallardo width?

Anyone know the maximum width of a Gallardo, mirrors in and mirrors out?
Or put another way, what is the minimum width aperture it will fit through?
Googling gets me dimensions of 1900mm and 2164mm, but no positive confirmation these are with/without mirrors folded.
JC: 2164 is with mirrors out, according to the handbook. When are you getting one? Or put another way, what is the minimum width aperture it will fit through?

Mine fits in my single garage, but only if I fold the mirrors in.

So, how wide is the entrance to your single garage? HTH

Good question! I'd imagine its the standard size if there is such a thingandrew. said:
i've a 7-foot garage opening and have around three inches clearance on each side with the mirrors folded in
i wouldn't want to risk a scrape/smoke the clutch in anything narrower tbh
also the doors are very long, so you need tons of opening space
hth
Thanks - if the 1900mm figure is correct then you've actually got over 4.5" each side. i wouldn't want to risk a scrape/smoke the clutch in anything narrower tbh

If only they'd put the scissor doors on the Gallardo ....
It's just a matter of getting used to parking...
I had to reverse 30m with only about 3 inches to spare... Wall on one side, cars on the other side:

It's my Diablo, doesn't have powersteering
And the mirrors don't fold in (though you can hold them back manually, i'm told...
If it's just the door opening itself you need to counter, just line out properly, and take it slow

I'll need to do some measuring before I do any buying ...

Was that Superleggera of yours left hand or right hand drive?

JC you should buy Andrew's car when he sells it. It's one of the rare ones with a proper gearbox.

JC, I might be selling mine soon. Only 10 manuals were ever made. Or I might keep it. I'm not being very decisive

I'm all too aware of that.

There is also a precedent that has been set in me taking on Andrew's automotive cast-offs ...

ETA: Oh, and we need to make sure AdamT buys the Beetle.
