Ferrari California (New model)

Saw and heard a California at Goodwood festival in the paddock,Sounded to me like it had a 90 degree crank/firing order (classic V8/american sound)as opposed to the usual Ferrari V8 /TVR AJP 180 degree crank.
Was i the only me who noticed it or am i wrong ? there was alot of other noise in the back ground ?
Makes some kind of sense as it is designed mainly for the american market
