I am thinking of buying a 430; I've seen a 2007 with ceramic brakes, should I look else where?
When did they become standard?

Not essential from a general driving pov but resale they'll help. I always found them a bit wooden on the 599 for road use, good on track though

I have Ceramics on the CS and they are great for road driving, you get a sandpaper noise when slow braking that is all. On track they are fantastic.
I would look for ceramics on any future cars

The 430 Steels are only 4-pot on the front and are useless IMO I will be changing the brakes on mine when I have the spare cash - but I'm not convinced about getting the ceramics....
