When you are next at the petrol station mate (which will be tomorrow I'm guessing) you can pick up some flowers & chocolates to give to my neighbours who still probably have the noise ringing in their ears!!!

Good work! thumbup

Congratulations!

I remember picking mine up, and if you're anything like I was, you will be over the moon for a considerable period yet. It's been a year now and I still get the same giggle factor.

Really hope you enjoy it...

biggrin

Didn't take you long to post on here, you only left my house in Essex 2 hours prior.

Here's a few photos I took on my blackberry.

First photo is at Shiltech with Cappsy's car adjacent and your 355's doppleganger diagonally in front

Got any of it on the flatbed?....karma for taking the p1ss out of my TVR

weeping

24 hours and 450 miles, I was the happiest man alive........ Then she broke and I haven't seen her since. This will be an eventful love affair I suspect!

Never mind, knew it would probably happen but hoped I'd get further than a day! hehe

Thanks for the photos Alex, for your entertainment I have got one of her on the flatbed on my phone which, I will try and post up later.

It is still worth it and I can't wait to see and drive her again!

Thanks mate, alternator needs reconditioning and they have informed me of an oil leak while she's on the ramp, they can't locate where, until they've got the alternator back to run her, lol. Fingers crossed that it's nothing serious! irked

Can't comment on the oil leak, but the alternator is a known problem. The voltage regulator and inverters go South every so often. a re-con unit is about £280, or alternatively, you can pull it out and get it rebuilt without rewinding it (which it shouldn't need) for a lot less (around £100).

Discussion on it here.

Cheers Lambo xx, due to her not being ready and my work, I won't see her again till next sat. frown

Hopefully all will be sorted by then!

Thanks for the link Cactussed, helped me understand what Shiltech were on about. Thankfully I'm not paying for it but I will bare that in mind for the future.

Here's to another week of sleepless nights while I wait to pick her up, again! beer

Looks very nice, they really do suit the yellow!
Have to say though that Cappsy's silver one looks awesome, the colour looks great and I can't understand why so many slate it. I remember considering one last year before the 'banking crisis' led to me spending less on a TVR, it was a bargain compared to the TDF blue one I was also looking at.
