Just done 6 counties in 10 days

An amazing experience driving 6 countries in 10 days ending with the Grand Prix in Germany.....
I won't post pics up here as there is so many, but you can find some in the gallery I put up on www.187club.com
The Stelvio and Glochenbar I think thats what it was anyway were just epic....and when your driving in the middle of July and there is snow all around you and your inside ur car in shorts and t-shirt it's a bit surreal tbh, but loved every minute of it!

Just returned from similar trip in the G Spyder. Agree Stelvio is just brilliant.Did 2900 miles in 2 weeks including France Belgium Germany Switzerland Italy etc. Most fun was Italy with people going crazy when they saw the car (don't they have any over there?) and a coach load of Japanese all wanting their photo taken sitting in the driver's seat when we stopped at service station in Germany.
Most challnging was getting enough luggage for 2 for a fortnight in the "boot". So we smelt a bit when we got back but who cares!! Fantastic trip. How come the Swiss/Italians can build roads with fantastic surfaces at high altitude and you get back to potholes everwhere in the UK?
Interesting that Shell sell 100 Octane at Autobahn services. Car went like a dream.

Looks like fun!
6 countries in 10 days though? must try harder;) We rattled off 7 in a day on a trip out that way last year! Although one of them was lichtenstien which we drove the length of in about 30seconds.
None of it was motoroway though, and that was the real beauty of it, all 2nd and 3rd gear stuff, and almost 300miles a day for about 8 days with a few laps of the ring at the end of it!!6 countries in 10 days though? must try harder;) We rattled off 7 in a day on a trip out that way last year! Where the hell is lichtenstien anyway??

If you dont do ANY motorways you miss the autobahns. Great fun getting to top speeed and knowing its lawful (as compared to Italy where it isnt but is encouraged!!)We did good mix of motorways, passes and "back roads". Fantastic trip and highly recommended. Agree about Lichenstein. Blink and you have missed it! Good for false teeth I hear!!
