... just had the pleasure of chatting with the Miura's owner this afternoon; he's still very wide-eyed and ear-to-ear smiling now that he's had the car back on the road for a while and has finally been in a position to drive it a good bit since about this time last year.

The owner also mentioned that the evo writer had a little initial difficulty when driving the car but as you can see, the car seemed to acquit itself quite well in Wales! The owner certainly enjoyed driving the car there and joining in with the magazine people.

Also, the owner knows he'll have to give back the LCUK Car of the Year trophy now he's had it a year - although he did sound more than a little reluctant! I don't know why though, it's far too big to keep in his SV anyway ...

Sorry, but there will be no apology for posting this again:

Thanks. That's a lovely SV. The dealer principal of Lambo St Gallen has an S and a P400 and has now found himself an SV, lucky man!

I should expect he's on a permanent near-heart attack alert!!!

But why stop with 'just' those? Surely he'll be looking for his SVJ next,?

the SV-J doesn't come with a free smiling Valentino Balboni replica statue though...

Seems like prices have risen somewhat since that video

Cage's purchase of the Shah of Iran's car was a very big deal, money-wise, when he bought it back then... £300k is barely entry level for a good Miura at the moment, let alone one of the tiny number of SV-J's!

You have to be impressed by the 'delete' passenger wiper option taken on that car, since the bodyguard didn't need to see out when the Shah was driving - I think at one time there wasn't even a seatbelt for a passenger either! Quite a thing to hear Joe Sackey talk on camera in this old film, I'm sure he's not really as effete as he sounds!

It would have been better if Cage had not taken to leaving the car unlocked on the streets of LA when he had it and it's as well that the car's (mostly) here in the UK now where people would never do such a thing (... much)

Perhaps evo should have made that article into a threesome with a Diablo SV? I love their vid footage; the Miura makes an engine sound that's very like the noise within a certain green coloured car I know which has much the same engine, if in a very different location...

edited to correct the non-brain engaged third paragraph!
