Hi there,

After a long day in London yesterday at Salon Prive (pics to follow during the week), I headed off to Silverstone today for the Silverstone Classic.

I did not take loads of pics of the track action as it was a very sunny day and the sun just bounced off the windscreens of the cars and made the photos look crap. :wall

As always with this event there were some stunning cars to be seen on display and around the paddock. I fulfilled two of my lifetime ambitions today as I got to photograph a Jaguar XJR15 road car, and one of the original XJ220C Le Mans racers.

Here are my pics: -

Someone has spent a few quid on this Tamora making it look like a Sagaris

Zeemax Jaguar XKR - This actually looks really nice in the flesh

Its only a V8 Vantage, but looked great in Red/Black wheels

Porsche 911 Speedster

I really like F512M's and there were a couple of nice ones on display today

Alpina BMW - this car was in almost concours condition

F40 - one of two on show

F40 and F50

California

Yellow 360 Challenge Stradale - can't be many in this colour

Two Ford GT's - black seems to be the colour of choice

New Porsche GT3 MKII

Lotus Evora

New 2010 Lotus Exige S - bigger rear wing looks kinda nice

Aston DB4 GT Zagato

Lamborghini Diablo GT

Porsche Carrera GT - looks great in White

New Jaguar XJ

XJ220 Road Car - not my favourite colour

Finally my highlight of the day - Jaguar XJR-15

Some pics of the racing will follow later in the week.

Regards

Tim

Great pics Tim.
Just got back from today. There was an Enzo, F50, 4 x F40, a white 16M and the highlight for me was a stunning F1 which was parked up away from the show, with all the motor homes!! Is it an LM? The owner said the car was blue up until recently...

Also thanks to Mr Bridger for the rev in the CGT, it looks stunning in white!

I'm just working through the pics and I'll post them asap... I took far too many of the F1!!

Cheers
Adam
