What are the most popular Gallardo colours? I am going to be looking at a blue one tomorrow that I kind of like the look of. Is blue a good colour? or should I stick to yellow orange and black? I know I should just buy what I like, but will it be harder to sell on a blue one?

Thanks very much.

There's plenty of black and yellow cars around so it's a double edge sword in that respect. Some of the rarer colours might prove more attractive, depending on just how far out they are...

Personally I've always thought blue to be a good colour for a Gallardo but I might be biased wink

If you like the car and the spec, don't worry too much about the colour and buy it if you like it.

I don't think Lambos are quite as colour sensitive as Fezzas, if that's what you are worried about.

<imho>if you're buying a ferrari or something german, then the resale colours are obvious
since people buy lambos and lambo colours to be different, there is no "safe" colour</imho>

Balloon White is now the only colour painted at Sant Agata for the G. Every other bodyshell is delivered painted at Audi Neckarsulm.

Nice big chunk of the tyre sidewall gouged out in the close up wheel pic.

Looks good to me. I would buy it.
Any colour is a good colour, the simple fact that you are potentially going to buy it shows that colour doesnt matter much with Lambos.

Would not worry about tyre scuffs - thats a reason to knock them down 300GBP, not a reason not to buy...

+1, I would want to know why the tyre has a chunk out of it yet the wheel is perfect? Surely if you spend the money on refurbing the wheels properly then it's worth putting a new tyre on. This amount of sidewall damage could be dangerous at high speed.

Lambo = Yellow or Orange
Ferrari = Red

However the new in colour at the moment which suits all cars from BMW M3s to the Lambo Murci SV is white.

Personally blue on a Lambo is one of the worst colours. Black is bad enough, but at Black serves a purpose in that it tones down a Lambo for those who want a G but do not want to stand out "too" much.

Get a pearl yellow car or an orange one.

I love Caelum blue is stunning. If you ever see it on the road it's stunning. The only other colours I would buy a Gallardo in would be Green, Orange or white.

first G I ever saw on the road was a metallic blue and it was awesome. That said I'd still opt for a White yellow or orange.

I like orange and yellow too, but I want somthing just a little not in your face. A touch more subtle maybe. Also wife really doesnt like yellow or orange. I cant find a white one im my price bracket. So blue or black. Quite like the black, will have to see what I think of the blue when I see it in the flesh!

Its all personal really. When I set out to buy one I wanted (realistically) a black one, or (if I was lucky) an orange one.

I had a look at a blue one and it really didn't do it for me, it just wasn't in your face enough for me. Luckily an Orange one came up for sale and I just went for it. Really glad I did as I love the colour, but its very bright, you can't go anywhere un noticed which can get a bit tiring!

I went to see the blue one today. I really liked it. The sales guy is gonna bring it over to my place on Monday for a test drive and so the wife can see it.
