11 owners on a 1993 f car, cause for concern?
Discussion
It is fairly common but there are plenty around with fewer owners. Following my search and eventual purchase of a 360 I'd personally go for fewer owners and higher miles every time. I could never get over the feeling that multiple owners meant people getting over the ferrari thing pretty quickly and getting out before anything went bang. Also short term ownership may not reflect well in the care taken to maintain these vehicles correctly. Just my gut instinct on the matter, for what it's worth.
A lot of people ask whether high owners on a car is reason for concern. The thing is there are arguments for both high owner and low owner cars.
You could argue that high owner cars have probably been maintained very well, because every time they are sold on to a garage they will be fully serviced (and most of the time all little problems fixed to) before the next owners receives the car. On the other hand, you could argue that a high owner car has been thrashed to hell and moved on quickly before any problems appear.
The reality is that many super car buyers don't keep cars very long maybe a year/year and a half before moving it on. It's also worth remembering that the car your looking at is 16 years old and therefore the amount of owners isn't too bad (although still on the high side). Just because a car has a lot of owners and hasn't been kept for years at a time by one person doesn't mean it's going to be problematic. For example I tend to only keep a car for 6 months to a year, but care for them like they were Gods. They are garaged constantly, cleaned and polished frequently and serviced whenever necessary and detailed every 6 months to a year.
My advice is buy on condition. A low mileage car sounds good but could be a nightmare if it hasn't been maintained properly. In my opinion the mileage and number of owners becomes somewhat irrelevant if the car is perfect. I would recommend that you get the car professionally checked out PPI'd etc before you purchase it.
Hope that helps and good luck with your search.

I would'nt worry imo super/expensive car owners only keep them for a year or under at the end of the day they are toys not daily runners, i had this chat with a high end dealer and he said its pretty run of the mill to see lots of owners over a short period. If the cars in good condition and all is in order get it and enjoy it and i bet you sell it within a year....
