Veyron, Enzo, Zonda etc this weekend
Discussion
Ladies, gents, and Diablo Pete,
I'm sure many of you are aware of the great big fantastical day of supercar shindiggery that I'm holding this weekend (Sunday, 9th August) with my good friend Will, the Earl of Pembroke (Veyron owner). It all culminates in a charity supercar display at his gaff - www.wiltonhouse.com - and PH is holding an open-invite Sunday Service in the grounds at the same time. The charity is one Will heads, raising money for children's hospital facilities (www.starsappeal.org). The event takes place in the South of England.
Now, I've drawn up my list of cars that are coming. It includes, among many others,
Veyron, Enzo, F50, F40, 288GTO, F599, F430 Scud, Koenigsegg CCR, Spyker, Murcielago SV, LP640, Diablos of all varieties, Carrera GT, Mosler, Ford GT, SLR 722S, Corvette ZR1 and even the Pagani Zonda.
All in the same place. All at the same time. Many of the above are in multiple quantities, and all but a tiny fraction are being brought along by owners, not dealers.
It doesn't take a genius to work out that getting all those cars together requires many of them to travel to the end destination, at the same time......
I've got a few more spaces left to fill up to get my target of 100 cars for the day (allowing for an average dropout rate) so would anybody here like to volunteer themselves for an invite?
Purely because the display at the end is to raise money for charity and needs to be as impressive as possible, if it comes to it (ie. there's an overwhelming influx directly from this thread) I may have to give preference to those with the likes of Enzos and LP640s, if you see what I mean, and there'd be absolutely nothing personal whatsoever about it and nor would it mean I didn't appreciate your car! Just that, well, a crowd wants to see the super rare million pound hypercars and I can't go too over the 100 car target.
Many thanks,
Jay.

(PS those who are already signed up as attending, please don't post anything on this thread that makes certain things public that shouldn't be - this is an open forum and word would spread faster than swine flu)
