that car used to be seen around woking a lot a few years back, i believe it was the demonstrator but could stand corrected on that, rumour also has it that it was taken off road at some point!!

seen that one around Knightsbridge a few times as well on the same street. Assume the owner lives around there?

i saw it parked opposite what used to be the Lowndes(now Jumerei something). It was at night and i couldn't believe it as the only other one i had seen was many moons ago near Finchley when i saw one of the prototypes, XP1 i think.

on a different car saw a nice blue Pagani on the embankment(london) this morning. Wasn't making enough noise though!

IIRC, looking at that Mac, the wing mirrors are too high for a production model so I'm guessing its a prototype.

Even more interesting is the model year of 1999. The last McLaren F1 was completed by the factory in May 1998. Strange, that one.

One person who is frequently correct in his info has speculated that this may be one of Ron Dennis' F1s.

There are a total of 5 F1s known to have the high mirrors including this one.

saw the pictured f1 a few years ago so assume that the owner must live there. I used to work just around the corner and had seen it parked up a couple of times in the area. the prototype I saw in finchley was over ten years ago and had xp1 or something all down the side. the f1 was officially on sale by then which was why I was surprised to see it.

the pagani I saw was very clean! stuck in traffic though so I don't think there was any chance to rev!

It was the 'standard' silver colour same as F1 MCL. Just had scripting down the side. It was heading towards central London (passing waitrose) just after the north circular junction.

Cool - XP3 was the silver prototype. Gordon Murray owns it now.

I saw F1 MCL as well... Nick Mason's GTR was the first I'd seen on the road, then headed back to London from Wilton and spotted this car. Really topped off my day.

Didn't Flemke move the position of the mirrors?
