Thinking of taking the plunge, but garage has a desperatly narrow opening, yet widens once inside.

Have searched for the widths and got the following:

360: 1922mmm / 75.7in

355: 1900mm / 74.8in

Are these figs accurate? Do they include the wing mirrors? Do the mirrors fold on either models?

I'm ultimately after the absolute max. width i can squeeze into the garage

Cheers

Looks about right.
Wing mirrors fold in on both 355 and 360... manually.
I think the mirrors on the 360 are the widest point and on the 355 the mirrors and rear arches are similar width.
My garage has 3 doors. The narrowest is 2115mm and reversing the 360 in there is tight enough to fold the drivers mirror in order to take advantage of the extra couple of cm.
When I did it with the F355 it was tight enough to pay attention but not enough to fiddle about with mirrors.

Hope that helps.

Yes I had exactly the same problem and as I progressed from 355 to 360 & 430 they got progessivly a little wider.

Bearing in mind the width of these cars why on earth were electricly folding mirrors not available?

Apologies for the slight hijack, in a similar way it sounds as though I can fit a 360 in my garage, but I want to make sure I can get out of the car door once I get it in the garage...

What is the minimum garage width people have managed to get out of a 360 in? I'm thinking I'll be ok as a 360 is only 6cm wider than my current car, but it really comes down to door thicknesses etc, so widths do not tell everything. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm afraid I don't know exact widths but you may want to think about a bit of carpet on the garage wall, just to stop you accidentally slamming the door into it.

when I park my 360 in the garage there is about 75cm between it and another car on each side. That's just enough room to get out carefully. You could manage with a little bit less, but not much without sliding across the seat bolsters and scuffing bits.

Thanks - I am probably on more like 50-60cm on either side with my current car as it is a fairly narrow single garage, sounds like it would be tight.

My Gallardo fits into my garage, just. Need to fold the wing mirrors in, but once inside its not too bad to get out of.
