Fairly likely - look at the depreciation curve on a 575 and apply that to the 599, likely to be very similar shape curve.

yeah, but wasnt the 575 seen as just a facelift of the 550? I would think that the 599 should fare better.

i cant see 599 doing what 575 did, bit like maser granturismo wont do what 4200 did. Both cars are that much more desirable than their predecessors

the 599 is a very different car to anything else Ferrari have built as a main production car.

go and have a drive!!

p.s yes they will get to 100k. all a matter of time and mileage.

lowest i've seen at main dealer is about 130k at Dick Lovett. Was considering/dreaming about it until the 458 came out!

interesting article in Autocar this week about buying secondhand Ferraris - the guy at Foskers who's featured in the article suggests 599's will lose £60,000 over the next 2/3 years and 430's will drop rapidly when the 458 is launched !

There is a stunning metallic red HGTE in Graypaul's.... bit it's £219k.

I'd have bought it there and if I'd had the money.

We just need the media to talk about the recession and scare everyone again (ala August-December 2008) and prices will go into freefall again.

I remember seeing a 599 for sale at £180,000 and 2 months later the same car was advertised at £145,000.

...so it will still lose £20k per annum for the next few years. Have to wait longer then until things settle down!
