I have just given my Gallardo a good clean (Not with a scourer) when I came to dry it with nice fresh towels I noticed that water had collected in a trough at the bottom of the windscreen, there doesnt seem to be any drainage points. Is there an easier way to drain the water? Seems odd.

Just mop up with micro fibre towel, there are no drainage holes as there is no where under that area where water can run without being a problem.

I used a towel to soak it up in the end. Thaught maybe there might have been holes but maybe were clogged. Thanks CB

from my experience, do not be too surprised if the obc throws-up a few silly warnings after rinsing

I put a towel over the engine, then closed the lid to help stop water getting in (seems to have worked quite well), I also avoided spraying water into any of the intakes. What kind of warnings might I get, will they go on their own?

There should be at least a couple of small drainage holes somewhere along the bottom. I had the same problem with mine - used a long thin bit of plastic to unclog them (think cable-tie!).
Worked a treat.

I belive it was an update from early ones to drill 2 holes and fit drain tubes, there should be two on the newer ones that just need unblocking

Mine has the drain holes at either side. You see the water flow down around the boot and out at the front bumper.

Ha Ha nice try!

I have just had a better look, I can now see 4 holes, I guess they must be blocked.
