There we were, out and about round Portsmouth, in Peter's new Gallardo. The M27 was pretty clear and the sun was shining, when out of nowhere some knob decided to show us some of his masterful drving skills.....

As you can see he's a few feet off the bumper, and judging from the placement of his car, I think he's going for the under-take wink

Now I don't think Mr Mitsubishi, when dreaming of the Carisma range, decided to put anything near a 5ltr V10 engine in it, so it was no suprise when a quick dab on the throttle left our hero in the distance - either than or he sh@t himself when I took his photo.

So in summary - I guess it's a given that you get knobs driving up your backside when you have a nice car - but it's Karma when you can snap their face wink

What a Hero !!!

James...

I was doing 70mph, nice gentle cruise. There was slower traffic in the middle lane that we were consistantly passing. This moron just shot up right behind us, and just hung a couple of feet from our rear, he was really really close. The smug look on his face and hand gestures showed that he wanted to play the fool. Morons like this should not be allowed on the road.

He was probably just wanting to have a look! I'd get used to it if I were you..

I had 3 idiots pull up next to me beeping the horn and waving for me to accelerate when in thick traffic on the M25, the driver of the (black Audi A4 2.7tdi Sline) wasn't concentrating on the road Nd was swerving dangerously near me (with a car infront and behind in middle lane I had nowhere to go) - it's quite scary when everyone's doing 80mph bumper to bumper...

Personally I prefer getting the thumbs up froma 10 year old as you rock past smile

So do I.

One of my pet hates is when on a motorway and you have a good safe gap between yourself and the car in front some nobjocky decides to fill it.

I'd love to know what was going through his head and what he was trying to achieve.

Probably wanted to tell his mates down the pub how he "burned this gallardo" on his way to work

I get this all the time... People trying to pass you on the wrong side, tailgating so close even Posh spice wouldn't fit in between, playing with phones and cameras...

Sometimes the only way "out" is drop it a few gears and floor it... It's all they really want to see anyway...

I really am quite dissapointed in some of the negative attention my car has been getting. But then the positive attention makes up for it. Girls really seem to like Lambo's!!

I used to do the early morning jaunt along the M8 in Scotland and this was my bug bear !

I eventually just accepted that it was going to happen. If I didn't it was a stressfull journey and I couldn't be doing with that.

Perhaps it earned him a third "star" at work...one for chopping gherkins, one for mopping piss and now one for driving like a tt.

I just let the tw8ts go by, pull to the left and let them have their little bullst story for the pub. I don't do the accelerating away thing, they win, they have made you drive differently, I don't have to prove anything to them. If you don't bite they tend to just go away.

Excellent you got a picture.
