A lovely grey 55 plate example at school today (collecting my 3 teenagers on the school run) sent me back, again, to the Gransport section in the Classifieds. Looking at this ad http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1244413.htm for a "63250 mile example" I clicked on the photo of the dials (3rd photo) which, apart from showing a mileage of 32431 (presumably a pic of the other one the dealer has for sale), indicate that it is doing 500rpm and 10mph whilst at rest, with zero oil pressure etc. Is it peculiar to that car or do they all show this?

Not important in the great scheme of things I know......

They look nothing like my GS dials, and more like a 4200, so I would guess the wrong image.

yes

Comparephoto 2 with 3. Dials in 3 are 4200 so wrong picture. They don't return to zero when the car is at rest.

Yes it's the wrong picture, as you said probably another car the dealer has in stock. As for dials sitting at 10mph while stationary, it's not a problem, 355s do it and so do a couple other cars.
