1. What are the chances of the milage being bank on a round thousand
2. The numbers don't line up

Well the ad says that it has full Maranello and dealer history plus receipts.
Therefore you should be able to trace it's historic mileage.
I think Autofficina have a good reputation anyway.

lol

Whenever I sell a car, I also give the mileage to the nearest 500 or so unless the car really is not going to be used at all during the sales period. I am about to sell a SLK230 with 87923 on the clock and I will advertise at 88k miles....to my knowledge this does not constitute clocking which involves altering the mileage shown on the car, rather than rounding the mileage to avoid any disappointment if it is 18 miles higher than when advertised.

Maybe its more likely it has been clocked though........... -_-

Main dealers do this too, mine was supposed to have 19,000 on it but it had about 18.5 on it when I bought it.

Was this actually a serious question? (Apologies for the sarcasm in the last spot, I assumed the OP was joking....^^)

I'd be more concerned that at 500rpm and about 12mph it has no oil pressure

wink

Italian speedos are rubbish, period. Why don't you check the car out and get it confirmed if you are interested? Autofficina are top guys and know their stuff. Peter and Elias know what they are doing, unlike other so called "specialists" who don't have a clue, charge a lot and do a shoddy job.

You must be a piano virtuouso then, as judging by that pic you'd need fingers at least 6" long! smile

It has just clicked around to 36000....The numbers will align after a few more miles.

The gap between the top of the wheel and the dash is small (not 6 inches ask your wife smile)
When I had my F355 it was marked from this and most I looked at also had marks no big deal.

Don't those marks get there from grabbing on and pulling down the instrument binnacle? Can't think why though....... wink LOL

Unless you buy a Fezza brand-new there is a very strong chance it's been clocked.

Someone I know used the services of a 'mileage-adjustment ' expert and was told that most of their business was on high-end cars like Porsche and Ferraris.
