Question for LP560 drivers
Discussion
I am new to the forum and took delivery of a MY10 LP560 a couple of months ago which I have now done 1200 miles in.
I have noticed that the car has a clonking/rattling noise as slow speed over rough ground (e.g. speed humps, drain covers, broken tarmac etc - usual London road stuff. I guess this maybe from the suspension but I could be wrong.
I took it to the dealer today (who were very helpful by the way) and they checked it over and went out with me on a ride around the block. The technician's view was it was normal and due to the suspension not having much rubber in the mountings (or something like that). He offered to demonstrate a different car to me but I was a bit pushed for time so declined the offer (wished I hadn't now)
After driving from the service centre to my office in central London and back home again tonight, the thing rattles/knocks like crazy over road bumps, I am sure something somewhere is loose.
Do any LP560 drivers recognise this complaint. Is it normal?

Never noticed it on mine. The ride is fairly hard over bumps so a certain amount of thump is unavoidable but rattles definetly not. There are a number of mentions of rattles from the front area on the old model Gallardo on the Lambo Power forum and ways of solving them that may be of help.
The technician at the dealer kindly took me around the block today in a demo car, one with fewer miles on than mine and one with more. The new one was quieter but still had some suspension noise but the older one made more noise than mine.
It seems as if this is the normal sound to the suspension over low speed bumps in these cars.
I must have gone soft after years of driving 911s!
Thanks very much to the dealer. I must say I have been very impressed with their customer service in the couple of months or so I have owned a Lambo.

My 06' Gallardo has only done 8k miles and I have a similar problem. I can also sympathise with you as I also came from a period of 911 ownership. I got the usual from my dealer who said they all do it, so it seems even the new ones are no better!
Its usually suspension bushes that wear prematurely, but I cant believe yours has worn already at such a low mileage. I would say mine is more like something clonking (coolant hoses or something more heavy) rather than suspension, so you might be worth just opening the battery hatch in the boot and checking nothing is loose in there. Or as your car is so new take it back to Lamborghini and ask them to get it up on the ramp and check it.
When your spending this sort of money, its not acceptable for a car to clonk and bang over bumps. Especially as its effectively german engineered now!
Keep me posted if you find any answers, Id be interested to know the outcome.
