Little red light? 360 Ferrari

I noticed a small red light which remained illuminated on the dash of a car I test drove today. The light was situated in the bottom right hand corner of the dash and I assume its something to do with the alarm/imobiliser.

Any ideas?

The red light is for the alarm. If it's constantly lit then the battery backup is goosed in the siren. A new siren is over £200 but it is possible to prise it open and fit an aftermarket battery.
