Is it normal for the numbers of fcars for sale to drop at this time of year?
The numbers of 348's really have dwindled over the last few weeks - there are only 5 on the Autotrader in total now!!
It really seems to be a struggle to find one at the mo!
Does anyone know of a decent Red TS (preferably with Crema leather) for sale??!!

There usually aren't that many 348's for sale normally. Could be some owners are waiting to sell when prices firm up in the spring.

I've been watching the 348 market for the past few months as I'm hoping to buy one next year and I know what you mean the numbers have really dropped off this past couple of months. As has been said, I think the owners are waiting for the better weather in the new year before putting them up for sale.

But why?
Especially if you're not going to use it over the winter?
In the hope that you may get more for it? Prices seem just as strong to me now as they were at the beggining of the year.
To be honest, for me, the amount that i am prepared to pay for the car is not really inlfluenced by the time of year.
Celcius, would you consider selling now?

Believe me, sellers are frustrated too.
there are a huge amount of time wasters out there, it just saps the energy.
selling cars is more trouble than it's worth! biggrin

Mine is for sale at the minute but I don't really want to sell it. I've just put a new exhaust on it it will have 2 rear tyres when I get back from Mexico and I will have the seats re coloured.

The only reason I advertised the car was because I was struggling at work but now I have a new job and everything is fine.

The past few calls I've had on it I've put the buyer off - I can't really see the prices getting any lower as they are such good value.

The only car I would swap it for would be a 512 tr as I think the M is too far out of reach.

The car will stay for sale but I would have to take an offer very near to the asking price as it will be very hard to part with it.

In an ideal world I would keep it, have a bare metal re spray so its perfect and use it very little - I know one thing it wont be sitting in the garage over winter, every dry day it will be out !!!

Its advertised on here under my friends company Autologix. Its a tb though not a ts.

I think I will take it off sale when I get back from honeymoon and keep if for at least another year if you can wait that long.

I put a guy off until early next year but when he rings me back in Jan I might not do the deal.

Make sure you look at a lot before buying one as are some dogs out there !!!

Are you from around Retford Simon? I think a relation of a friend runs that Autologix place.

Surely the benefit from waiting to sell yours will be outweighed by buying a spider now rather than when the weather picks up? confused

Mine will be going up for sale in the next few weeks. However, it has a fixed roof, the leather's not the right colour for you and the wheel is on the proper side, so probably not what you're looking for at all... it is very nice though smile

Absolutely nothing Chas... I simply want to spend more quality time with Vicki and the children and, an ultimately selfish extravagance like the Ferrari has no room in that plan.

Maybe an interesting 2+2 that I can use and get pleasure from everyday, or maybe a cheaper and less extreme weekend car that Vicki would also enjoy driving. I'll just wait and see smile
