Anyone listen to this?

Believe it was near £250k total again this year, roughly £30k per couple

I was there at the start when it was around 1k but new that wouldnt last more than a minute

As ever, fair play to the guy for doing this, mark of a real enthusiast and couldnt be further from the "garage queen" type if he tried!

Is this the event were he auctioned his Ferrari to people who wanted to drive them? If so this was in one of the car mags, all his ferraris are white apart from his Cali SWB. Heres the video of the all white convoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sNYMVDdUos

Those cars are absolutely magnificent. Good on him. All or most in white as well, they must look fantastic in his garage.

I very briefly met Chris Evans at Brooklands last year, and he was a total gentleman, down to earth, laid back, and a proper enthusiast, seemed like a thoroughly decent chap to me.

He has some extremely beautiful cars and he's the sort of guy who really appreciates them and deserves to have them. cool

Would agree,

met him at GFOS this year (after shouting "Oi! Chris!" to him at the top of the hill climb) even after my less than graceful way of grabbing his attention he was an absolute gent - got a photo with him and autograph

The Mrs used to think he was a prat (more based on TFI days), but even she admitted he totally changed her perception of him

Keep up the good work CE
