greetings . i have recently joined the dark side in the order of the bull . the lp is a fantastic car but im having a strange thing happen . its happened only twice . after 140 mph ( ish ) on track of course the speedo stays there and even starts to creep upwards.
i was doing 240 mph at 2000 rpm in second gear for god sake .
has this happened to anyone or does anyone know what is happening ?
thanks

Wow - I get the first PH 'welcome to the dark side' reply biggrin

iirc Tim aka autofocus has a photo of a well known Murci doing a fair rate whilst stationary

Does this do anything to odometer?

Many years ago, an ex-colleague of mine had a Cortina Crusader, which would do just that (speedo going off the clock at 120ish while he was stationary) - but his odometer was also racking up the miles too!
