I need one new tyre for the Gallardo and apparently the make of tyres that are on the car are not made any more. The only option then is to buy 4 new tyres, now seeing as the car got 4 new tyres about 4 months ago I really would like to avoid buying a whole new set.

Has anyone had a similar problem, or shed some light on where I can find Pirelli P-Zero Rosso (I think that's what they are called) tyres?

Thanks

I think there was a thread on the correct tyres a little while back and I vaguely recall them being called just P-Zero's (ie no Rosso, Corsa etc). Not sure if that applies to all models. Last time I had tyre issues it took quite a while to get the right ones as there were none in the country. Shame you're up in Scotland as I have a part worn front tyre (had a puncture in one so replaced both sides and kept the good one) - Suffolk might be a little far for a part worn tyre.

According to Mytyres the sizes are:-

235/35 ZR19 91Y M+S Speed index Y
295/30 ZR19 100Y M+S Speed index Y

Useful as a guide until the OP can confirm.

PS: Worth checking ebay (of all places)

Just came across these

I posted the correct "part number" from pirelli on a previous thread. I just got 4 correct ones no problem via Merit tyres and got a good price plus excellent fitting. They had no problem picking them up from pirelli. Ensure you get the correct ones as some people have had problems with Lamborghini telling them the incorrect ones negate the drivetrain warrantee.
a simple search on thos Forum will find the thread. Posted about 3 to 4 months ago.n

Yes, you place an order with (Quick Fit or Similar) they order them from Pirelli, they do still make the tyres in batches.
