I think we'll go back to more bright cars. Having owned a white bmw ordered a good 18 months ago when white was not common it seemed loud, but the number of white BMs and Audis you see now, as lovely as they are, a new trend is needed.

Chrome skins are not nice, they seem cheap and tacky. I think my next car will be yellow, or orange or something else bright.

Matte white was on the increase this year, personaly i think some cars look good in matte white, easier to photograph than black aswell.

What about matte red:

there's also the matte yellow, like the Murci SV and the matte blue that lambo released last year too. I don't mind them, because at least their bright colours wink

I may be wrong, but a dealer called Saxton 4x4 had a chrome wrapped G for sale for absolutely ages at about £56k. Original colour was black according to DVLA search.

It disappeared from all the classifieds for a couple of weeks.

They now have a black G for sale for £57k.

Could be coincidence and I'm talking through my hat, but I would strongly suspect that it had very little interest in chrome, so they had the wrap removed....

Looks a whole heap better in the standard black, it must be said.

Brown is the new white.

You heard it here first

Seriously, there are browns sneaking into BMW's colour palette's, as well as Porsche's etc

Yes, saw a brown flying spur yesterday, not too impressed myself, but it is appearing for sure.

I love the matte white. Totally depends upon the car, what other mods have been made and it being done in a tasteful way. For me, this Aston is a great example:

I wasn't so hot on matte black but again it depends on the car. We had an SV on our stand at festivals of speed that just looks pure evil in matte black (sorry these are just cameraphone shots).

Chrome on the other hand... not for me, but if someone else digs it, more power to them.

Pretty hot huh? Thing is, for me at least, I don't think that it would look good without the black grille, wheels, clear lenses etc. etc.

So it's totally down to how you do it, and whether you get all the other details right. For my money that is one of the sexiest looking Astons on the road. Mind you, the girl is pretty hot too!

Yes, very true. Without the black detailing it wouldnt look as good. Its all about colour coding.
