Have got my '89 328 up with Nick Cartwright for a service/belts along with a few other bits, one being the brakes. Noticed that pedal pressure is a touch hard, right at the top of the travel and although initially the brakes seem to stop the car almost too well with little feel - if you apply even medium pressure to the pedal the wheels lock up without the ABS kicking in. ABS sensor at fault.

Apparently now unavailable from Ferrari - Any ideas where some might lurk?

Have you tried the usual exotic breakers? Like http://www.douglasvalley.co.uk/ and http://www.eurospares.co.uk/index.asp
But if Nicks got your car to fix it, then why is he not sourcing the parts to fix it? Surly he has not hit a wall on the subject of the brakes being that your asking.

According to my ATE parts catalogue, Porsche used the same sensor (the 3.2 ABS Mondials also use some of the same parts)

Thanks for info - Nick has not hit the wall yet as such but has suggested that the parts are proving difficult to locate. Apparently Ford have used the same sensors in the past, didn't know Porsche also did. Will give him a call with info.
