Gutted to hear about this i was lucky enough to get a ride in this very car in 2007, whoever turned him in (as many suspect someone did) is not a car lover in my books, that was the only one that was frequently around out of the few produced now god knows where, if ever it will surface. Bad news all round in my book and before some defend the government, remember there are plenty of grey import cars in the U.S. Zondas etc. frown

“Cars that don’t meet U.S. standards are outlawed for a reason. These vehicles can pose a real threat to public health and safety.”

Is this the 16 cylinder monstrosity with 4 (yes, 4!) pop-up headlights?

I guess anything mimicing the form of a Lambo Diablo cannot be bad-looking, but those lights just mess the lines up completely.

Impound, you say? They should have crushed it.

Yes, the design apparently pre dates the Diablo and I believe the lights only go up when you want them to wink

Of course the tens of millions of rusted, poorly built crap american cars with jelly suspension and drum brakes from the 70s, 80s and 90s still on the road pose no threat at all........

I agree.. I don't think the US can critisise anyone else for posing a threat to public health and safety!
