hi I have just seen this on elms collection,and it has be sold,it most have gone for a couple of milion?

Not sure if that's the same one at Cars International which has been in the showroom for well over a year, and was priced at £2.5m when I asked some time ago...

The Cars International car was a long tail and sold back in August for 7 figures, albeit a lot less than the quoted figure.

Correct. Also featured on Fifth Gear, Tiff did a test with his Enzo and Macca back to back. Can't have been a bad day's work.

just out of interest, how much do those ex-F1 cars go for? And surely they must be a nightmare to get spare parts for!

I think the Long Tail version (1 of 5) was changed down to 2 million from memory, but it might not have sold for that.

I think you can still get parts, but to be honest the servicing etc costs loads anyway. There was a guy in Scotland who sold his, because he fell out with McLaren over the serviving costs.

I always thought that Mr B had an original Macca that was then made to look like the LM???

Obviously I'm wrong, but I must have picked that up somewhere...

Anyway, spectacular car and that YouTube clip is fantastic. There is something about seeing an 'ultra-car' on normal roads that just gets my heart racing!

I wonder how many are left in the UK now. There was around 6 that I've heard of, but a few have been sold recently, so not sure if they've left to go to Europe, with the current exchange rate.

The ones that are still left I know are Nick Masons pink one, and the yellow Harrods one. Think Rowan's burgundy one is still here too.

Shame that MR B has sold the GTR, I understand he wasn't too keen to sell unless the right offer came up... Still, I would have loved to see that car before it went to it's new home.

Thats my local F1 not seen him for a while i think he uses it most days lol does anyone on ph know Mr S i met him many years ago at the milford esso petrol station i neally fell over when he rolled up i had a quick chat nice guy
